THE NEXT KURESOI SOUTH MP HO. JOSEPH TANUI (THE TEACHER)







The background of the next Kuresoi South MP Hon. Joseph Tanui is quite encouraging.
As a Secondary School teacher gradually rose to be Principal who transformed lives of thousands of students and the surrounding community.
His life is characterized by leadership since his Primary School, Secondary, and University and in School Heads Association and now headed to Constituency leadership.
A resident of Kuresoi North living next to Kongoi Secondary where he taught last, says he left indelible marks in hearts of thousands.
“Tonui, has a unique record, he came to Kongoin when it was a new schools and boosted it until its population was the highest in Nakuru County and stabilized good academic performance” Jane Soi said.
He said, Tonui is: Honest, Hardworking, Concern, Development oriented and Caring leader.
His personality was easily noticed and elected as then District Secretary of Heads Association.
He taught until 2012 when he was approached by several elders asking him to contest for Kuresoi South MP so as to bring development but due to the party he used, he appeared second.
He immediately joined Jubilee party and consequently was spotted and appointed as the Chief Officer to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs Sports and Social Services.
At the position, his generosity has enabled him help several needy families, churches and build schools through fundraisers.
Anybody close to him can attest his diligence and generosity.
He is now the favourite Jubilee Hopeful for Kuresoi South Parliamentary seat in 2017 General election.
Kuresoi locals have identified him as the only leader to rescue them from ditch of poverty and unfair distribution of government resources.
